How Have Rent Increases Affected The Country

Countrywide have declared that during January rent across the country rose as demand bypassed supply.

In the North of England, however, we saw a fall in rent year-on-year as rent dropped by 1.2%. This was closely followed by Wales, where rent dropped by online casino 0.7% and the south-east (who continue to see a drop) by 0.5%.

The north has seen their arrears stay the same, whereas other regions have seen a decrease (except central London that saw a 0.6% increase).

Considering the massive demand for housing it’ll come as no surprise that the average rent for newly let properties saw an increase of 2.8% and many renewed tenancies have increased too.
