Current Vacancies 

Bookkeeper

We currently have a position to fill in our busy Newcastle based Estate and Lettings Agents. We would require an enthusiastic, experienced, hardworking, proactive, team player to fill this role.

The hours would be 9am till 4pm Monday to Friday and every third Saturday 10am till 2pm.

Rate of pay will be £10.00 to £11.00 per hour depending on experience.

The main requirements of the role are as follows:

Bank Reconciliations

Processing all payments and receipts, reconciling the accounts

Creditors – make payments to Landlords and suppliers

Debt collection – recovery of outstanding rents from Tenants

Processing of contractor invoices

Processing  of sales invoices

Collection of payroll information for submission to payroll bureau

Calculation of monthly payroll

Payment of PAYE & NI

Processing and reconciliation of Petty Cash

Student Tenancy Agreement checks, to be processed and sent to Landlords

Reconciliation of business credit cards to receipts and payments

Preparation of quarterly  VAT returns

Administrator

We currently have a position to fill in our busy Newcastle based Estate and Lettings Agents. We would require an enthusiastic, experienced, hardworking, proactive, team player to fill this role.

The role will be to assist the sales and lettings department teams.

Requirements would be to help with general administration duties for example typing new properties, data entry using the sales and lettings databases, answering the phone, photocopying, keeping the system and diaries updated, viewing notifications and liaising with tenants/landlords.

Applicant should also have the following skills & attributes:

Experience in similar role – admin based with preferably 2 years’ experience

Knowledge of Microsoft office package and using a variety of software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook,   Powerpoint, Excel, Access, etc., to produce correspondence and documents and to maintain presentations, records,   spreadsheets and databases

General computing experience with efficient typing skills

Good and polite telephone manner

Word processing

Copy typing

Letter writing

Dealing with telephone and email enquiries

Creating and maintaining filing systems

Keeping diaries and arranging appointments

Using content management systems to maintain and update internal databases

Ordering and maintaining stationery and equipment

Sorting and distributing incoming post and organising and sending outgoing post

Organising and storing paperwork, documents and computer-based information

Well presented and highly organised

Core working hours : Thursday and Friday 10am to 3pm (times are flexible) one in three Saturdays 10am-2pm. Flexibility to cover holidays and sickness required.
Salary £8.50 - £9.50 per hour (depending on experience)
