My goal is always to provide a service that is not only efficient but also tailored to the needs of each client.

What are some of your proudest accomplishments in your career so far?

Having greatly increased business and satisfaction levels amongst clients in each of my posts.

“My goal is always to provide a service that is not only efficient but also tailored to the needs of each client.”

What do you do in your current role?

In my current role as a Property Management Consultant, I oversee all aspects of managing both residential and student properties. This includes handling maintenance, managing tenant relationships, and offering strategic advice to landlords to help them optimise their property investments and ensure their portfolios run smoothly.

How do you ensure a positive experience for both tenants and landlords?

I focus on being proactive and addressing any issues before they become problems. By ensuring clear and consistent communication, I make sure both tenants and landlords feel supported throughout the management process. I aim to resolve concerns quickly and efficiently, ensuring a smooth experience for all parties involved.A great property deal is one where all parties feel satisfied with the outcome.

For sellers, it means achieving the best possible price in a timely manner; for buyers, it’s about finding a property that truly meets their needs – both now and in the future.

Experience has taught me to recognise when everything aligns: the right timing, the right valuation, and the right match between property and buyer. It’s not just about the numbers – it’s about intuition, negotiation, and understanding what truly matters to the client.

What’s your approach to managing property maintenance and repairs to minimise downtime and keep costs under control?

I prioritise regular inspections to spot any maintenance needs early and take action before they become larger issues. By staying on top of repairs and having a good understanding of local contractor pricing, I can ensure costs are kept under control while minimising any downtime for the property.

“Staying proactive with maintenance and keeping a positive line of communication can help prevent issues from escalating and ensure the property is well-managed.”

What’s the most common mistake landlords make when managing their properties, and how can they avoid it?

One of the most common mistakes I see is landlords neglecting maintenance issues or failing to carry out regular inspections. This can lead to bigger problems down the line. Another mistake is not maintaining clear and open communication with tenants. Staying proactive with maintenance and keeping a positive line of communication can help prevent issues from escalating and ensure the property is well-managed.

How do you stay up-to-date with changes in property management regulations and best practices?

I make sure to attend regular training courses and industry events to stay informed. I also keep an eye on the latest news, trends, and discussions within property management through press outlets and industry-specific social media.
